We are seeking a positive, motivated and personable Customer Service Representative (CSR). This position requires extreme attention to detail, strong multitasking/prioritization skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The CSR is the first point of contact for customers. This position handles answering phones, emails, text messages, and social media inquiries. Experience in the moving and/or logistics industry is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidates will have experience working in a busy start-up and/or small-business environment.
The CSR must maintain positive and professional communication in all interactions with customers and teammates. Ideal candidates will have strong attention to detail, with a systematic approach to daily tasks. The CSR must be good with numbers and accurate with data entry. Move Indy is seeking a self-starter who is able to successfully prioritize daily tasks while working independently. The ability to remain calm and work well under pressure is essential. This is a fully remote position.
As part of the day-to-day activities, the CSR will need to speak with customers and collect the proper information to obtain an estimate or schedule an in-home estimate. The CSR is responsible for scheduling new moves and Home Services, as well as confirming all previously scheduled work. This position requires great attention to detail and strong organizational and multitasking skills
While it is not a direct requirement of the position, any experience in social media management and/or marketing is a plus.

Move Indy will provide an onboarding and training plan to help familiarize the selected candidate with our policies, procedures and estimating techniques/software. Compensation:$20 - $25 hourly (based on experience)
Responsibilities:- Answering all incoming phone calls
- Sending/responding to emails, text messages, and voicemails
- Maintaining and working within a CRM system
- Responding to incoming direct messages on multiple social media platforms (Google, Facebook, Yelp, Instagram, etc.)
- Composing emails;
- Generating PDFs of estimates
- Gathering customer information / data entry
- Scheduling in-home estimates, moves, home services, etc.
- Calendar management
- Confirming all weekly company appointments
- Managing and maintaining electronic files
- Generating estimates for moving, packing and home services [training will be provided]
- Following-up with Estimates Not Booked (ENB)
- Sending post-move correspondence
- Communicating frequently with the management team to discuss logistics, scheduling, etc.
- Providing feedback and suggestions to improve processes and the overall customer experience
- 1-2 years experience in a customer service position or similar
- Prior data entry experience
Strong computer skills with proficiencies in the following systems:
- Google Suite (GMail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
- MS Office (strong emphasis on Excel)
- PDF creation
- Basic understanding and familiarity with standard social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and remain calm/professional under pressure
- Proven organizational skills
- Must be detail-oriented and thorough
- Candidates MUST be reliable and coachable
- Prior experience in social media marketing is a plus, but not required
- Prior experience in the moving and/or logistics industries is a plus, but not required
- Previous experience with any CRM system is beneficial, but not required
