Carry out activities pertaining to community service and advocacy programs that serve the greater Los Angeles area. Serve as the advisor of community service/advocacy CPO programs. These programs are designed to provide an approach to students and student organizations in applying classroom theory in non-traditional laboratory settings in the greater Los Angeles area. Responsible for student advising, including advisement of student organizations involved in community service activities, and counseling of individual undergraduate and graduate students who participate in student organizations and activities, with a focus on strategies for balancing academic and extra-curricular activities.
