Job Description

The Tax & Accounting Compliance Services (TACS) team is responsible for all payroll taxes sent to the taxing jurisdictions (IRS, Social Security, State, Local & State Unemployment). There are 100+ domestic legal entities with employees in all states. Essential Functions

Research and resolve all incoming tax correspondence from taxing jurisdictions.

Ability to compile data for tax audits (Tax returns, etc.).

Direct communication with tax agencies and ADP.

Participate in the creation of Legal Entity communication for tax adjustments.

Complete Quarterly ADP review and reconciliation.

Ensure Power of Attorneys are completed as necessary.

Research and resolve ADP errors (tax jurisdiction, etc.).

Research and resolve items in the Deferred Debit and Deferred Credits Holding accounts pertaining to Tax.

Communicate ideas and contribute to the development of the department and corporate goals.

Initiate process improvements achieving improved technology and best tax practices.

Process Tax Amendments required resulting from W2C's, M&A, and Legal Entity Consolidations following up on all tax refunds and tax balances due. Requires the utilization of ADP AT10/AI Tools

Qualifications

1-2 years Payroll Tax Experience (multi FEIN/State/Local)

1-2 years experience with PeopleSoft HR/Payrol PeopleSoft.

1-2 years experience with PeopleSoft query

Knowledge of ADP Tax Service Operations and Applications (AI Tool, PTI, QTI, TSWS)

Strong analytical and technical skills (Tax and Financial)

Financial background a must

Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, strong client Legal Entity focus

Ability to quickly absorb ADP and JPMC product knowledge, process information and apply appropriately to meet TACS requirements

Requires extreme attention to details and the ability to follow through and resolve outstanding issues.

Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with changing initiatives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management

Advanced PC skills, including MS Windows & Office Suite (Pivot Table & Charting experience required)

Demonstrate initiative, be a self starter, fast learner, and team player

Demonstrated leadership skills

Participates in execution of department strategy, develops approaches/processes to accomplisg goals and deadline driven
