The Patient Care Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for our patients within our clinics and is responsible for ensuring smooth clinic flow and supports the goals of Earlens Hearing Centers by providing exceptional patient care, service, and follow-up.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer service duties including greet, assist, and direct patients within Earlens Hearing Center Clinics
Clinic opening procedures, daily preparation, practice good safety and sanitation protocol, maintain inventory and supplies, support marketing activities, and closing procedures
Answer incoming calls, retrieve messages, prioritize return calls and guide patients to appropriate service.
Take messages and schedule call backs in the OMS appropriately.
Conduct patient retention and outbound calling for potential patients
Greet patients for appointments and check them in and out.
Interface with patients, including administering questionnaires, scheduling, and confirming appointments.
Prepare patient invoices and collect balances.
Complete end of day accounting as required.
Maintain patient charts and scan proper documentation into CounselEar EMR
Support clinical staff, including the ENT physician and Hearing Care Professional by coordinating providers' schedules and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patient care.
Preparation of documents to assist patients with insurance reimbursement claims
Administrative tasks including patient charting, data entry in OMS and EMR software, scheduling, appointment confirmation, documentation, invoicing, and payment collection
Support the clinical team by?ordering devices, mailing impressions, ordering supplies, and processing returns.
Assists with marketing activities as needed and directed
Exercises confidentiality as it relates to business and patient information
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
HS Graduate or Equivalent
Prefer AA in administrative medical, or customer-oriented field or equivalent work experience
Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple areas of responsibility concurrently.
Must be able to plan and work independently as well as with a team.
Ability to deal with numerous interruptions
Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population
Ability and desire to be proactive with a solutions mindset.

Must deal with patients in a caring and respectful manor
