Summer Enrichment Counselor

Mandatory training days: June 27-29th

Dates of Employment: June 27, 2023 - July 28, 2023
Summer Enrichment Program Schedule: July 3 - July 28, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Academic Program: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Enrichment Activities: Monday-Thursday, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Enrichment/Field Trips: Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.


Hourly Rate: $18 - $20 per hour
The Enrichment Counselor is responsible for managing the day-to-day safety and well-being of the scholars in their care. Your primary job will be to guide the enrichment experience of the scholars in your group. Counselors also instruct and monitor activities. Fridays are field trips! You will supervise your group on outings every Friday.

You will bring: Passion for working with children, enthusiasm, flexibility, compassion, leadership skills, the ability to think outside the box, an eye for safety, a problem-solving attitude, humor, and inclusion.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 18 years old, ideally with at least a year of college/work experience.
Ability to instruct a variety of enrichment activities.
Prior camp/childcare experience is preferred but not necessary.
