ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of a company, a global leader in the shipping and logistics sector with presence in numerous countries, is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, Anti-Corruption.
Senior Legal Counsel, Anti-Corruption (Ref. 6506/SLC/ESS/GR)
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Anti-Corruption Compliance manager, as a Senior Legal Counsel you will:
- Provide a full service to subsidiaries, worldwide agencies and their respective directors, managers and employees on Compliance, to ensure that the company meets its regulatory requirements
- Develop, maintain, and revise policies and procedures related to the company’s anti-corruption compliance program, anti-fraud, conflict of interest policies and the group Code of Business Conduct
- Assure legal monitoring within the area of competence and the coordination with external legal counsels where required
- Promote and control the implementation of the company’s policies within the area of competence, communicating, performing trainings and due diligence tasks
- Draft, review and negotiate compliance clauses and compliance certificates to preserve company’s contractual interests, with customers, suppliers or business partners
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in law and experience in a law firm and/or legal department of a multinational company (7+ years of post-qualified relevant experience)
- Experience in managing the implementation of Compliance programs
- Knowledge in sanctions, export control, anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, and data protection regulatory frameworks
- Fluent in English – Knowledge of a major language is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to communicate/persuade others at all levels, including the company’s Compliance management, customers, suppliers or business partners, whether in writing or orally, individually or to a large audience
