Excellent employment opportunity for a Clinical Contracts Manager in the Wilmington, DE and or Gaithersburg, MA area. This position is expected to provide leadership, direction and guidance throughout the contract negotiation process. This role requires an extremely high level of interactive communication to set clear direction for the stakeholders. Interacts with IISR and ESRO managers to discuss study specifications and specific requirements necessary to be included in agreement. Provides contract and negotiation expertise to address business ! needs and provide business value. Review IISR/ESRO budget prep! ared by institution/investigator to determine fair market value. Formulate and coordinate proper identification of specific template to be utilized. Structure terms of IISR/ESRO Agreement to company business strategy for specific Therapeutic Area or compound. Negotiate any requested changes to language, identifying any changes requested in areas of the contract that are critical to company interests. Act as a point of contact and interface with both Legal and Global Intellectual Property attorneys, if necessary, to ensure integrity of agreement. Negotiate and finalize IISR/ESRO study budget with institution/investigator. Support internal and external audits and litigation activities. Maintain a tracking system of all IISR/ESRO agreements/contracts, issues, and communications with both internal and external sources regarding the contract and/or budget. Participate in scheduled project team meetings (in various therapeutic areas). Maintain an electronic library of previously ! negotiated IISR/ESRO Agreements on CAGM shared drive.
Provide input on legal issues surrounding Informed Consents and Confidentiality Agreements. Liaise with Legal Department on other legal issues that arise, as necessary. Ensures final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. Continuously share best practices and information within Sourcing department. Effectively promote the proactive role of Clinical Contracts Manager to all ESRO teams and throughout company. Ensure that customer focus remains an integral component of the Clinical Contracts Manager.

Experience:
To be considered for this Clinical Contracts Manager job opportunity, you must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree and 4 years of experience in clinical contracts negotiations in the Pharmaceutical industry. Experience negotiating both language and budgetary components of a clinical study agreement with major institutional and academic sites Experience dev! eloping complex contracts Experience in a highly matrixed environment w! ith demonstrated leadership is required. Any formal project management training and experience is highly preferred.
