FELLOWSHIP AT U.S. ATTORNEY’S OFFICE,
DISTRICT OF DELAWARE
City of Wilmington, Delaware Legal Fellowship. Fellow is appointed as a Special Assi! stant United States Attorney (SAUSA) at U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Delaware, to prosecute cases in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware brought under the City’s anti-gun violence initiative. Fellow works closely with the Wilmington Police Department and Bureau of Alcohol, TobacÂco, and Firearms (ATF) to gather and assess evidence, obtain search warrants and criminal complaints, oversee grand jury investigative work, and appear in federal court at detention hearings, preliminary and suppression hearings, jury trials, and sentencings. Two year commitment required; must sit for the Delaware Bar before the second year. Full background investigation prior to appointment. Medical and dental benefits and 18 vacation days/year.
