CRC provides clinically sound, research-based treatment options at 140 facilities conveniently located throughout the United States.We are currently looking for a dedicated Central Business Office Director. The Central Business Office Director requires a thorough understanding of the facility's treatment program and philosophy. This individual must be able! to work flexible hours, demonstrate knowledge of healthcare 3! rd party billing and collections, and work with patients and families to promote recovery. This office contains approximately 25 staff members and is responsible for billing and collections for 17 inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency treatment facilities, with combined annual revenues exceeding $55M. This is a highly responsible and complex position requiring good organization, administrative and accounting skills. Job Responsibilities: Ensure systems and controls are in place for all aspects of the Revenue Cycle. Meet established daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines. Timely processing of insurance and patient billing, accounts receivable, adjustments, refunds, census information, ancillary charges, cash deposits and posting. Maintains confidential files, ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations. Oversight of meetings with new admissions to explain financial obligations and paperwork. Audits new admission files to ensure completeness and accuracy. M! anages month end processes, inclusive of completion of charge capture, payment posting, adjustments, write off and census reconciliation. Manages accounts receivable collections for past due customer accounts, ensures timely filing of Insurance claims. Provides written Past Due Report concerning customer accounts to the Executive Director, Regional Controller and Division Accounts Receivable Manager, prepares for and attends A/R review meetings, maintains collection Activity Documentation. Recommends and prepares accounts for outside collection agencies, attorneys, and write off. Customer Service First Attitude: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights.
10 years previous experience in third party health care billing and collections preferred. Bachelor's degree in related field required.
