Description

Summary:
Assess and analyze customer or applicant financial condition to evaluate credit worthiness. Evaluate credit bureaus, and other financial related information to perform risk assessment. Make credit card lending decisions to approve/decline and or set credit line. May have direct hi-touch customer contact. Applies judgmental Decisioning to predict spend and assess propensity for charge-off.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate problem solving abilities
• Deliver quantitative and qualitative analysis of existing accounts and applicant requests for credit
• Review customers credit file to determine the level of risk associates with credit lending
• Evaluate and interpret tradeline credit bureau data. Conduct customer interviews leveraging customer servicing skills. Works with management to identify process improvements. Process data changes on a variety of accounts.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
• At least 1 year customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years clerical experience
• 2 years customer contact experience
• Previous or current underwriting, lending or loan experience preferred
• Experience reading and/ or interpreting credit bureau data preferred
