Position Summary:
As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for processing and settling Workers Compensation claims in NJ and PA.
Organizational Structure:
This position will be reporting to the Claims Technical Manager and will work closely with brokers, insureds, attorneys and management staff.
Performance Objectives:
- Opening and managing Workers Compensation (WC) cases until settlement in NJ and PA.
- Investigating Workers' Compensation lost time claims.
- Corresponding with brokers, attorneys and insureds.
- Managing a diary to capture notes, actions and follow-up items.
- Responding to client inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Ensuring the right reserving projections are established.
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- A minimum of 2 years managing WC claims.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Presentation skills are a plus.
