Job Description: Data Verification Specialist

Essential Functions:
The Data Verification Specialist is responsible for processing and entering information provided by registry applicants in a database system.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Verify and code documentation submitted by the applicants.
- Enter data ensuring accuracy and avoidance of duplication or errors.
- Provide exemplary customer support.
- Attend meetings, as requested.

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or High School Diploma
- Equivalent work experience: Four (4) years’ experience in a similar position.
- High speed internet access is required to meet the needs of hybrid/remote work.
Skills and Ability:
- A high level of ability to successfully manage and complete multiple assignments and priorities with limited supervision.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at all levels.
- Attention to details, initiative; resourcefulness; poise; tact; sound judgment.
- Customer service orientated to professionally answer phones, respond to client requests in a timely manner, monitor phones and route appropriately.
- Strong computer skills to perform data entry tasks and the ability to use Excel, Microsoft Word and Office, and Internet browsers.
- High level of organizational skills to help maintain equitable workload among registry staff and provide input on system needs/modifications.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and/or stand at a desk and working on a computer with frequent interruption.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
