We currently have an opportunity on our team for a Technical Lead at our headquarters in Wilmington, DE to lead the development of services for CSC internal and external applications products. The team is primarily responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of the Matter Management system, an application that allows our clients to manage Service of Process documents served to them by the court system. This includes all of the collaboration and document management that those matters require between attorneys and their clients Position Summary At CSC, Technical Lead! s provide the detailed technical guidance and mentoring in an ! environment where the smartest, most productive, and fun to work with software professionals are motivated to do their best work. Their technical leadership ensures that teams create and maintain a web-based e-commerce software-as-a-service solution which is the foundation of CSC’s market leadership.
We are seeking experienced hands-on technical leadersmentors with a strong desire to work on global agile teams (with Scrum), following test-driven, extreme programming, and lean software development principles. Technical Leads at CSC understand that the ultimate measure of success is how delighted our customers are! Primary Duties and Functions Provide technical leadership in the design, development and testing of enterprise class web-based applications and web services. Mentoring of globally distributed Developers and Senior Developers in the design, coding and testing activities.
Participate in enterprise architecture team to research and develop enterpri! se solutions and guide application team. Function as a lead developer on Quality First Development projects. Ensure the quality of the application under development across functional and non-functional requirements. Qualifications Include 8+ years of design and development of highly scalable web-based Java applications Experience leading the design, development, testing and deployment of enterprise class applications Experience with and strong desire to work within an agile software development process (Scrum) Technical team leadershipscrum mastermentorship experience desired Experience with globally distributed development teams desired Experience developing applications in a Java, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, JNDI, EJBs, JMS) Experience using standard development frameworks Hibernate, Spring, Axis2, Struts Proficient in Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services and XML, XSD, XSL, XPATH Excellent technical communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative globally-! distributed team About us Corporation Service Company is a privately-he! ld company headquartered in Wilmington, DE that serves as a leading provider of legal and financial services for the world’s largest companies, law firms, and financial institutions.
