Head, Delaware Trust Company Duties: Will oversee team of trust professionals located in Delaware office, and act as! Senior Trust Officer to manage a book of trust, estate and agency accounts. Serve on the Trust Company Board of Directors. Oversee, guide and mentor team of trust professionals. Manage a book of trust, estate and agency accounts. Ensure all accounts within the Delaware office are administered efficiently and in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures, legal requirements, governing instruments and with the highest level of client service. Communicate effectively with internal and external clients and their advisors on all trust and estate matters. Represent the company's trust business both internally to Bankers and product partners, and externally to ultra high net worth clients, prospects and their advisors. Assist with the review of new business opportunities in conjunction with new. business review team and opine on specific trust issues as appropriate. Coordinate internal audits and external regulatory exams. Participate in risk management committees. Stay a! breast of and communicate to colleagues current developments i! n Delaware law.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in finance or related field. Advanced degree in law, finance or industry education desired. 7-10 years of trust and / or estate management and administration experience. Strong knowledge and proven technical proficiency in the investment, legal, and tax issues relative to trust and / or estate management and administration. Ability to manage a team of professionals. Strong communication skills. Proven presentation skills. Ability to work in a team environment is needed.
