Description - Provides technical knowledge as an expert for a numbe! r of statistical processes and systems through a regional based group that ensures effective collaboration between a technical services group and company's regional sites and customers. - Develop and build, or act as a specialist expert within, a cross-functional multi-skilled team comprised of experts across multi-disciplinary project teams.
Job dimensions: - The statistician will work with a Wilmington-based team on late phase clinical studies. - There will be collaboration with the company's physicians as well as other members of the study team. - Studies will be in various stages, from design to analysis and reporting. - Most hands-on work will be done by an outside vendor, so the statistician will need to give direction to the vendor and to review the vendoras work.
Requirements: - MS/PhD in Statistics or related field. - Minimum 6 years experience of clinical development, program design and data analysis and interpretation. General stat! istical expertise is required; experience with outcomes studie! s is desirable. - Ability to do statistical programming in SAS. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Able to work onsite in Wilmington.
