This opening is for teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology with a lab component. Applicants for this position should meet the following criteria:
Masterâs degree in a Biological or Medical Science or a Bachelorâs degree in a Biological or Medical Science plus a Masterâs degree in Education or related field.
Strong communication skills
Experience in teaching at the post-secondary education level is preferred
Experience in the discipline
Provide relevant work experience to the instructional content of the course
Blackboard Technology and Smartboard Technology experience are recommended.
In addition! to the minimum education, work-related, and computer skills, applicants are expected to:
Understand the mission and values of Wilmington University
Know various instructional strategies designed to meet the course instructional objectives and add to student learning
Develop a personalized course outline designed to follow basic course information provided by the University
Possess good writing skills and provide a writing sample when requested
Complete Blackboard Training and then attend the Universityâs 3-week online training program so as to demonstrate Blackboard mastery in the classroom
