Description: DSM Commercial Real Estate is currently seeking to employ Commercial Real Estate Agent right now, this position will be delegated in Delaware. Commercial Real Estate Agents oversee real estate transactions within a commercial real estate firm. Other duties usually include but are not! limited to selling commercial real estate and leasing commercial properties. In addition, Commercial Real Estate Agents obtain agreement from property owners to place properties for sale, and then monitor fulfillment of lease or purchase contract terms. They compare a property with similar properties that have recently sold to determine its competitive market or lease price, and then generate descriptive, detailed lists of available properties. Commercial Real Estate Agents act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers/tenants and sellers/landlords over property prices and settlement details and during the closing of the transactions
In a nutshell:
Visit and show several sites and explain features of building.
Discuss costs of maintaining building and possible renovations with client.
Determine best method of purchase or lease for property
Show properties that will be utilized for business purposes.
Seek out acquisition targets a! nd grow book of leads
Facilitate acquisition and lease tra! nsactions.
Identify, analyze, and review re-development plans.
Create relationships with businesses in various industries for future transactions
List properties for sale or lease.
Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers
Compare properties with similar properties to determine fair market price.
Work with loan officers, attorneys, and agencies to complete transaction.
An ideal candidate for this position will be licensed to sell real estate in Delaware (or at least on the path). Prior real estate experience is not required but it is definitely a bonus. We plan to work with an individual and train them to learn and grow within the industry. We definitely need someone with a proactive, go-getter attitude who isn't afraid to make new connections and communicate with potential customers.
