Compliance Director - Consumer / Community Banking Operations The candidate will strategically partner with the business to ensure that certain cr! oss business practices, products and services are in compliance with both the letter and spirit of all laws and regulations. This includes independent front-end involvement with the development and implementation of new policies, procedures, and training to ensure inclusion of necessary state, federal and regulatory compliance requirements. May focus on one or more operating components - Consumer Segment Operations, Community Segment Operations, Central Transaction Operations, Shared Services and the Business Engineering Group. Provide expert regulatory advice on compliance matters, and is involved in the review and approval of operating policies and procedures, products, new initiatives and training to ensure regulatory compliance issues are adequately addressed.
Evaluate current methods and quality assurance processes so that they effectively mitigate regulatory risk. Participate in and/or manage compliance and line of business projects, and timely reports signif! icant control and compliance issues to management. Report to t! he Compliance Managing Director for Consumer Preventive Control. Bachelor's degree, J.D.
or comparable work experience required, with the flexibility for significant, prolonged and unplanned travel. Should preferably have 7 years of compliance, regulatory agency exam, audit or legal experience.
