Job Summary:
The Trust Attorney at WSFS Bank will review proposed trust documents drafted by trust clients' counsel from a legal as well as an administrative perspective and negotiate terms of importance to the Personal and Corporate Trust Departments as well as an administrative perspective and negotiate terms of importance to the Personal and Corporate Trust Departments as well as advise the trust department staff on trust issues, governance, policies and procedures. The incumbent will draft or review Receipts and Releases, assignments, entity documentation (e.g., LLC Certificates of Organization, operating agreements, LP agreements, etc.) or other documents customarily attendant to trust department functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate Degree from ABA accredited Law School is requiredThe incumbent must be a member of the Delaware ! Bar Association or agree to become a member within 2 years of ! employment He/she must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant, substantive experience in a law firm or trust departmentThe incumbent must have outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsHe/she must possess knowledge of MS OfficeThe incumbent must possess conscientious work habits and superior attention to detail
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described below must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Incumbent will be required to stand for intermittent periods of time.Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers. The incumbent will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items over head, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The incumbent will also be required to talk, hear, and see. This position requires regular lifting and moving of up to 10 lbs.
