Trust Associate I
The Trust Associate I will be responsible for supporting the administrative client team.
Responsibilities will include:
·
Prepare accurate and timely daily transactions and maintenance requirements for client accounts.
·
Verify daily activity journals for client accounts on a daily basis.
·
Provide an appropriate level of daily phone coverage and monitor other means of client contact to ensure client service standards are being met.
·
Prepare materials for client meetings in an accurate, complete and professional manner.
·
Demonstrates the ability to interpret basic trust, planning, and investment disciplines in order to interpret or prepare client communication vehicles.
·
With respect to fiduciary accounts, drafts/develops dispositive summaries of trust documents and discretionary payment memos for review by Fiduciary Advisors.
·
Research items related to trusts and/or client accounts when requested.
·
Address questions that arise from client’s other advisors such as attorneys, money managers, CPAs, and tax accountants in a timely and appropriate manner and by utilizing appropriate resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
·
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent training and/or work experience.
·
Minimum one year of trust/financial planning or related experience with client contact.
·
This position requires that the incumbent be highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and able to rapidly learn new software applications.
·
Effective time management skills
Ideal Qualifications:
·
Banking experience preferred.
·
Experience with SEI, banking and/or Sales Logix a plus.
