Head of Policy and Executive Branch Advocacy Duties: Leads strategy, planning and delivery for Corporate Affairs objectives within Policy and Executive Branch Adv! ocacy portfolio. Drives performance of other CA assets (Government Affairs, Communications, Policy etc.) for Policy and Executive Branch Advocacy objectives. Engages externally to gain insights and shape policy with relevant external stakeholders including senior KOLs, policy makers and third party organizations. Serves on NAM CA Leadership Team responsible for contributing to overall CA strategy, budget, talent management, compliance and scorecard objectives. Accountable to USLT (including VP of NAM CA and VP MM and MA) for portfolio objectives. Serve as counsel/member of the Managed Markets Leadership Team. Supports training and development opportunities to build a pipeline of talented professionals capable of filling future vacancies and/or succession. Responsible for ensuring strategic alignment with Global colleagues, including GCALT and GPPS leads Requirements.
Qualifications: Advanced degree in relevant field (J.D. degree, MBA, Masters degree in relev! ant field) is strongly preferred. Impeccable judgment and high! est ethical standards. Exceptional leadership capabilities. Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field. Extensive experience in several areas of Corporate affairs (Communications, Government Affairs/Policy). Demonstrated ability to create and execute multidisciplinary public affairs campaigns (including direct lobbying experience). Outstanding communications skills (writing, public speaking). Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry. Team management experience.
