REPORTING ANALYST

OVERVIEW: The Reporting Analyst will be responsible for analysis and reporting for a mortgage processing application system. The Reporting Analyst w! ill perform data extractions using various reporting tools to build data sets for analytical purposes and develop reporting solutions for the Mortgage Express ITBA Group.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver analysis in collaboration with other team members from multiple data sources Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic and ad hoc basis Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues Ability to work with management and subject matter experts to help define new reporting requirements Ability to manage a large queue of work with daily shifting priorities and to provid! e regular status reports as requested Other duties as assigned! QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer literacy/proficiency in MS Office Strong Excel skills including use of macros and pivot tables Analytical and statistical skills Strong independent results-oriented focus in a fast-paced, changing environment Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage several tasks and objectives simultaneously Strong attention to detail, especially for purposes of ensuring accurate reporting and presentation and formatting of reports in a professional manner Develop an in-depth understanding of our data sources, tables and data relationships in a short period of time. Project Management skills a plus Experience with SQL and/or other Oracle Database tools, Crystal Reports, Hyperion Reporting Suite, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word, Visio, MS Powerpoint, MSP Mortgage Loan Servicing experience with relational databases Experience with Quality Center/ALM, Sharepoint, JIRA systems
