Intellectual Properties Clerk
This downtown Wilmington, DE firm offers firm paid healthcare for employee and parking stipend.
Responsibili! ties :
Ø Docketing (tracking court filings)
Ø Assist with court filings (including independent preparation of the filing for final review of paralegal)
Ø Copying (including coordinating with mailroom and outside vendors for large projects)
Ø Maintain files
Ø Organization and assembly of binders and trial exhibits
Ø Page checking document productions and deposition transcripts
Ø Proofreading
Ø Create and update indices and file labels
Ø Maintain files and archiving
Ø Organization and assembly of binders and assist paralegals with trial preparation
Ø Independent projects from paralegals
Requirements:
Ø High school graduate or equivalent
Ø Excellent computer skills (including manipulating documents/PDFs)
Ø Excellent organizational & communication skills
Ø Deadline oriented
Ø Flexibility (i.e., changing priorities in midstream)
Ø Ability to work overtime
Ø Ability to ta! ke direction from various sources (i.e., attorneys, paralegals! , and secretaries)
Ø Ability to take initiative and provide creative ideas to solve problems
Ø Ability to work productively in high-energy, fast-paced situations
