Engages in technical writing and produ! ces technical documentation. Preparing information including online help, user guides/manuals, white papers, design specifications, system manuals, project plans,
test plans.
Over 5+ years of information technology experience, including computer operations, software testing, programming, quality assurance, configuration management, procurement, web design, and technical writing/editing.
Excellent written communication skills
5+ years experience business and technical writing
Document preparation: Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, Publisher, PowerPoint,aSnagIt, Fireworks
Experience with HTML and CSS (ability to hand-code)
Website layout: Dreamweaver, Fireworks
Information design
Information architecture
Training material development
Illustration/Graphic Design
Website design and management
User Interfaces
Business Analysis
Responsibilities
Planning, scheduling, creation, editing, testing ! and production of documentation deliverables
Designing doc! uments for usability, maintainability, effectiveness, adherence to company style
Experience documenting software for users, developers, and administrators
Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers, marketing, and executive
Photo-editing skills (Photoshop, GIMP)
Experience with Dreamweaver, FrontPage, and other HTML authoring tools
