The Mortgage Closing Manager will manage the day to day closing and post closing of mortgages (Conventional, FHA and Reverse HECMs) from all mortgage delivery channels. The incumbent will assure stellar service to customers and reaching service levels and provides daily supervision to ensure that loans are handled efficiently and expediously. The incumbent will be responsible for the comprehensive gathering of all necessary information needed for the closing/post closing and packaging of these loan requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner according to bank policy, regulatory compliance guidelines and legal requirements. This positionÂ's work is diversified, involved and critical good customer service and faster turnaround time. Problems must be quickly identified and resolved requiring a blen! d of expertise and professionalism.
This is a full! time position, M-F 8:00am-5:00pm.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree is required, a BachelorÂ's Degree is preferred.
The incumbent must possess a minimum of 5 years in supervising the closing or processing, underwriting of a mortgage.
He/she must be proficient with loan software for mortgage and/or consumer and must be proficient with operating a PC.
The incumbent must have understanding of FHLMC/FNMA/FHA/USDA guidelines, legal documents and procedures for perfecting lien position for all loan types.
He/she must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
The incumbent will communicate regularly with customers as well as extensive contact with attorneyÂ's offices, realtors, builders, appraisers, mi companies, credit reporting agencies etc. Within the organizations, the incumbent will communicate extensively with Secondary Marketing, Sales, Loan Ops and other departments.
The incumbent will have excellent liste! ning ability.
This position involves a great deal of direct customer service. Therefore, the incumbent must have superior customer service skills.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described below must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Incumbent will be required to stand for intermittent periods of time.
Dexterity is mandatory as this job requires frequent use of hands and fingers.
The incumbent will be required to walk, reach with hands and arms, push items over head, occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
The incumbent will also be required to talk, hear, and see.
This position requires regular lifting and moving of up to 10 lbs.
